2026-2027 SchoolMint K-6 Magnet Applications NOW OPEN

K–6 MAGNET PROGRAM
School District U-46 families are invited to apply for our K–6 Magnet Programs. Students must live within District U-46 boundaries to apply and are selected through a lottery process (not first come, first served).

Application Window: February 24 – March 10
Apply Online: sdu-46.schoolmint.net

WHAT TO KNOW:
Siblings of current magnet students receive first priority.
Families may select up to four magnet choices.
If a program fills, a waiting list will be created.
Offers are sent through SchoolMint and must be accepted within 48 hours.
Kindergarten students must be 5 years old by September 5, 2026.
After accepting a placement, families must complete registration within two weeks (summer registration).
